FolkEast will premier this August Bank Holiday weekend at Somerleyton Estate! We already have a very exciting programme of Folk, Roots, Acoustic and World music, with more announcements to come! The event will be a mixture of a conventional and unconventional folk festival with styles from around Britian and the World, as well as traditional and contemporary artists, spread across 4 stages. We are adding street performance, spoken word, circus style performance, traditional/rural skills, workshops, dance, a session/jam tent, great food from around the globe, lovely local ales, craft stalls, and above all… value for money! We are also working on a few little details/surprises to make your experience even more enjoyable!
The campsite is due to open on the Thursday and you can stay until the Monday lunch-time-ish if you like, with a weekend camping ticket. There will also be space for caravans/campers. More details to come shortly, please keep an eye on this website.
